Sue was born and raised in the New Cumberland area and except for one year in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and one year in New York City, has been a life-long resident of the Central Pennsylvania area. She began her real estate career in July of 1988 and has been a full-time Realtor ever since. She and her husband, Jack, now reside in Mechanicsburg with their two dogs, Star and Blaze. Jack and Sue love to travel on the weekends with their friends.
Sue's son Gino blessed her with a wonderful grandson, Nicholas Giovanni Martin, born September 8, 1998. Sue also has ten wonderful grandchildren from Jack's three daughters; Taylor, Allison, Briana, Kelsie & Ian Putnam from Jennifer; Amber and Mace Blair from Jackie; and Cassidy, Jesica and Tricia Hoover courtesy of Pam.
When not serving her clients, Sue enjoys playing with her dogs. She is also an avid country music fan and enjoys cruises and reading.
Experience
As a result of her involvement in the education and activities of her children and grandchildren Sue has an acute awareness of the needs and wants of families in the area. She knows the schools, the neighborhoods, the services and the benefits available and is a valuable information resource both for those new to the area as well as to those who are simply changing neighborhoods.
Professional Philosophy
Sue has a very simply stated professional philosophy that is achieved only through extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the market. Sue strives to have satisfied clients that will feel comfortable referring her to their friends. Beginning with open and honest communication and proceeding throughout the transaction with dedication, integrity and hard work, Sue works to ensure the complete happiness of her clients. She understands that the sale or purchase of real estate is one of life's biggest financial transactions and takes her role as advisor during and even after that transaction very seriously. Totally dedicated to helping you to obtain your dream home, Sue Donson is the kind of real estate professional who will do her best to make this real estate transaction your best.
Sue has recently been appointed to the Board of Directors for Safe Harbour, a nonprofit corporation which will provide a variable length-stay shelter for people in need of housing, such as victims of abuse, victims of disaster, the homeless, the unemployed and individuals just relased from prison.
Honors
Consistently outstanding in her field, Sue has been the recipient of many awards in recognition of her exemplary service to her clients. More important to this professional, however, are the honors bestowed on her by her clients in the form of referrals. She knows that a referral to a friend or family member means that she has truly helped that client. That, to Sue, is more valuable than any real estate reward available.
Professional Designations
Sue believes that one of the keys to success, both for herself and her clients, is a continually updated education. She takes many classes and seminars to increase her effectiveness and has earned two of the real estate industry's most prestigious professional designations: GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative). Nationally recognized, these designations are earned through a rigorous course of study as well as demonstrated professional experience. They are Sue's assurance to you that she provides quality service.
Sue recently became e-PRO certified. There are only four Realtors in the greater Harrisburg area that have this designation.

All of these associations uphold a strict code of ethics and ensure that their members are up to date on the latest marketing techniques and legislation affecting real estate.
